Why isn’t sex discussed?
Most of the parents find the sex conversation with their children a trivial issue. Many parents feel that sex education will arouse the curiosity in the minds of their teen children. But lack of knowledge in this regard can persuade the teens to take a wrong decision in sex.
There are several studies that have revealed that sex education does not increase the urge for sex. Instead, it’s the proper sex education that ensures the correct direction of sexual desire. Parents are usually confused and hesitant.

Apart from ensuring that proper sex education is offered in the school, you can also aim at imparting sex education at home. In fact, good sex education starts from home and most of the learning comes from the parents. School may only teach the teen about the anatomy of human sexuality but the real behavioral aspects and the morality issues relating to sex can only be taught by parents.
With the increasing number of cases in unsafe sex and hazardous AIDS, precautions are not the only thing your teens need to take. Effective sex education is a reflection of a responsible parenting as parents are the true guide.
